The Faces of C

Over the past few weeks we've been teaching Cara to make 'faces.' It started out with me saying, "Can you be excited??" and she'd open her mouth wide. Then we worked on surprised b/c it was very similar to excited, just with her hand over her mouth and a tiny gasp. Lately we've worked on more faces. She can now 'be' happy, sad & mad (even though I'm not sure she knows what 'mad' means). Really, I'm not sure she knows what any of them mean besides happy. It's fun b/c she'll do a little cheesy smile throughout the day at the appropriate time when she's happy. Happy to see her dada, happy to have the remote without us taking it away, or just happy to be wallering around on the floor. :) D recently taught her to make a silly face!
