We're New At This

So as first-time parents there are still occasional lessons that we learn. One such lesson came recently when we got out the sidewalk chalk. There's a reason it's called SIDEWALK chalk instead of porch chalk. Yeah, it doesn't rain so much on your porch...and then you just have these 'creations' all over your porch for forever! Until, you hose them off. :)

I took some pictures of the porch after I had hosed it...C had sat down several times in all of the chalk and then the water and then more chalk. Her pants were cracking me up. :) From now on...we only color on the sidewalk.
