A NEW JOB

We're pleased to announce that for now D has taken a part-time ministry job here in town as a Young Adult's Pastor. He starts this Tuesday. It's at the same church where his brother is the Senior minister and we simply have loved worshiping there the past year and a half. I'm not mentioning the name of the church or town or anything just for security purposes with this being online and all. Anyway, long story short, he has been missing full-time ministry a LOT the past few months. He has a contract with the school where he currently works so while we really felt called to search for a ministry in a church, he also had a strong calling to finish his year here. This job will allow him to finish his year at the school while fulfilling his longing to be involved in church ministry again. We're very excited to stay settled, at least for now and to focus on church ministry again. We aren't sure what the future holds, obviously we'd love for it to all just work out "perfectly" which in our minds would be for this part-time position to be able to go full-time for him. He and his brother have always wanted to work together so it would be beyond awesome for them. God knows our desires and also our needs and thankfully he also knows what we don't about the future & what is best. So we trust that it will work out "perfectly" even though we don't really know what that will be.

So for now we're trusting that he has provided this for D to get back into ministry while honoring the contract he started. We're not worrying about the future but excited about the present and will keep you all updated if anything new comes our way or changes for us. The church knows that come next fall D will need a full-time job to provide for the family but they can't make any promises so we'll just have to see how it all turns out. So there will be more news to come in a few months but for now, we're staying put and thrilled to do so. :)
