Nick Update

Thank you for praying for Nick! The surgery is over. The doctor said he was able to get everything that he could see so - WOOHOO! We saw his dad tonight and he said Nick was sleeping. Everything went well. Thanks for praying, please pray for clear clear clear MRIs from now on!

Tonight while leaving the hospital we saw a helicopter take off to go to a life-threatening emergency of another child. It just made my heart sink. C was very excited to see a helicopter so close. We explained to her that it was going to help someone who was hurt and then as we were praying for them she said, "BIG BANDAID!"

She'll never know how many lessons we learn from her. The faith of a child is an amazing thing. Tonight when we were putting her in her crib for bed and getting ready to pray she said, "PRAY NICK" without us even mentioning his name or prompting her. Now THAT does my heart good.
