In Columbus the fireworks show is called Red, White & Boom! We were too far away to hear the boom but we saw the red, white and "PLANES DADDA!! ANOTHER PLANE! LOOK! SEE IT MOMMA! SEE IT DADDA?!" She liked the planes and every star in the sky as much or more as the fireworks. She kept pointing to them as they would fly by...even once the fireworks started. She'd watch them but as soon as a plane went by it had her full attention...or if a new star would appear, she'd get all excited about it! And ya know how when you're at places like this and you see kids with those glow in the dark bracelets and necklaces and
you think..."why would someone spend money on that?!" Well...C got one. :)
It was a precious night. Of course, it didn't go by without me getting teary! When D put her on his shoulders and she was able
to sit up there like a big girl without even holding on for dear life...I got all teary. It is just fun b/c for so long we didn't have a little one to put up on his shoulders and now that we do
have her this is the first time she was big enough to sit up there all confident and excited. The fireworks were great, the planes carrying banners were an added bonus, the stars were exciting but when it come down to it I'm just happy to have such an awesome family to share the giggles, the 'oooo!'s',the cupcakes & bla
nket with.
