Good Friends/Good Times!

I'm thankful for such great girlfriends, who are loyal, fun, genuine & hilarious & who have fun husbands as well making for outstanding girl's night's out and very fun couple's nights out. There are four of us (8 when you count our husbands, 14 when you count our babies!) We have grown so close over the past...wow, almost 8 years. God has blessed us in many ways throughout our marriage but when he provided this group of friends to hang out with, work with and go through life with he certainly blessed us above and beyond what we imagined when we moved to the area. It's incredible to me that we're all at the same point in our lives and going through such similar experiences/decisions/etc. We've shared so much laughter - holy cow, so much! - and several tears together as well. We've had 6 babies (lots of happy tears with each one!), what can only be described as a tragic death when one of my friends lost her mom, we have another baby on the way (well, not D & I but one of our friends), we've cried so hard at movies that the one napkin we split four ways was NOT enough and have laughed so hard at girls night out that we couldn't see through our tears. We've been to each other's baby/wedding showers, weddings & Master's graduations. We've shared in school parties & carnivals, gone to church together & prayed for each other. There have been numerous, probably even hundreds, of meals out and in (more 'in' now that we have all of these babies). We've shared holidays, birthdays & celebrated snowdays. We've seen each other at our worst & have seen each other's houses at their worst. We've played countless poker games - if you've never played Texas Hold 'Em you really need to give it a try! We've gone on trips & had slumber parties. We've experienced the loss of jobs and the joy of finding new ones, the sadness of moving away from each other but the joy of being close enough to still visit. So many years of conversations, love, growth and change...too many to write. For all of it I'm thankful, the good and the bad, the happiest and saddest. I've grown so much and thank God for my girls.

All of that being said we recently got together to hang out (minus Abby & Chris who couldn't make it-we missed you!) and our girls and their dads got in the pond @ A & J's. We didn't have any swimsuits or swim diapers for the girls so they (the girls) were naked...at one point we thought it'd be fun to take a picture of the girls' bums so we had the boys put them on their shoulders and turn around and we took these pics. :) Fun, fun times!
